Draper Fisher Jurveston, Global Environment Fund and Mellon HBV Master Global Event Drive Fund LP, collectively invested USD 20 Million in Reva Electric Car Company Private Limited ("Reva"). Reva is the only automobile company in India manufacturing electric cars. The Company has cutting edge technology and holds several international patents. This investment represents a strategic intent by Reva to expand and consolidate its position as one of the leading electric car companies, globally.

OUR ROLE

We at Nishith Desai Associates acted as legal counsel to Mellon HBV Master Global Event Drive Fund LP in this investment.

Our incubatee company, IPpro Services (India) Private Limited, analyzed the patents held by the Company and conducted 'freedom to operate' study on Reva's technology.
