DEAL BRIEF

Atomberg Technologies Private Limited (“Atomberg”) raised USD 86 million in a Series C funding round led by Singapore investor Temasek Holdings and Steadview Capital LLC (“Steadview”), along with other existing investors. Atomberg is a pioneer in the manufacturing of smart and energy-efficient home appliances powered by the BLDC motor.

OUR ROLE

We, at Nishith Desai Associates, acted as the India counsel to Steadview. We advised them on the legal, tax and regulatory aspects of the transaction.

OUR CLIENTS

Steadview is a global investment firm headquartered out of London with offices in Mumbai and New York. Steadview makes concentrated long-term investments in both public markets and private equity with a primary focus on technology, consumer, financial and industrial sectors.
