DEAL BRIEF

VEF along with Softbank and other investors, participated in the Series C investment round in Juspay Technologies Private Limited (“Juspay”). Juspay offers services including but not limited to payment aggregation, payment gateway for e-tailers, internet marketplaces, online service providers, banks and other e-commerce companies.

VEF is an investment company listed on Nasdaq’s first north growth market in Sweden which focuses on investments in fintech companies in emerging markets.

OUR ROLE

We, at Nishith Desai Associates, acted as the Indian legal counsel to VEF and advised them on legal, tax and regulatory aspects of the transaction.
