W Health Global Series LLC (“W Health Ventures”), along with other investors, led the Series A investment round of approx. USD 5.5 million in Touchkin eServices Private Limited (undertaking business as Wysa). Wysa is a conversational AI mental health platform that provides everyday mental health support to millions of individuals in 50+ countries. Wysa has been ranked as the best mental health application by Google and is recommended by the United Kingdom National Health Service. W Health Ventures is a Boston-based venture capital firm focused on helping entrepreneurs build the future of healthcare.

OUR ROLE

We, at Nishith Desai Associates, acted as the India legal counsel to W Health Ventures. We advised them on the legal, tax and regulatory aspects of the transaction.
